USA - BlackRock Inc's chief executive, Larry Fink, said on Thursday that the Russia-Ukraine war could end up accelerating digital currencies as a tool to settle international transactions, as the conflict upends the globalization drive of the last three decades. In a letter to the shareholders of the world's largest asset manager, Fink said the war will push countries to reassess currency dependencies, and that BlackRock was studying digital currencies and stablecoins due to increased client interest. "A global digital payment system, thoughtfully designed, can enhance the settlement of international transactions while reducing the risk of money laundering and corruption", he said. That appeared to strike a different tone from May of last year, when Fink raised some concerns around volatility and said it was too early to determine whether cryptocurrencies were just a speculative trading tool.
USA - Food shortages are coming. If you’ve read anything I’ve written over the last couple of months about The Great Reset, you already knew that. Now, the man they installed as President of the United States issued a warning about the coming food shortages. Following his attendance at a meeting of world leaders in Europe, Biden said, “With regard to food shortages, yes we did… talk about food shortages, and it’s gonna be real.”
RUSSIA - The West, a world that is being lost in LGBT decadence, in gender, in absurd identity policies, would gain from the definitive Russian defeat a new "unipolar moment” with no expiration date, in which perversion, slavery and double-thinking would flourish: in the end, the whole of humanity would succumb, subjected to the horrible New World Order of Davos and its high priest, Klaus Schwab.
USA - Here’s why you should be very worried. Whenever the White House says it is working on a plan that would transform a vital part of the US economy, and that the administration is doing so with the “highest urgency,” it should go without saying that the press should pay close attention to what’s going on. Even more importantly, the press should eagerly and comprehensively inform the public of the potential risks associated with such a proposal. Unfortunately, that’s not happening today, and the effects of the media’s negligence could reverberate for decades to come.
USA - Let’s get a few points out of the way before anything else is said: There is ZERO scientific evidence to support the notion of gender self identification. There is ZERO scientific evidence to support the claim that gender is merely a social construct. There is more evidence that biology determines gender behaviors and manhood and womanhood are inborn psychological constructs. The vast majority of people develop gender associations directly in line with their biology. Men act like men, women act like women, and these behaviors have been established as biological fact from the beginning of recorded history.
USA - Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson refused to define the word 'woman' during the fiery second day of her confirmation hearing conducted by the Senate's Judiciary Committee. The moment came during a tense exchange with Senator Marsha Blackburn (Republican for Tennessee) who pressed Jackson on sex and gender issues amid the fallout of biological male swimmer Lia Thomas storming to victory in the NCAA championships against female competitors. Quoting late Supreme Court judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Blackburn said: 'Physical differences between men and women are enduring. The two sexes are not fungible. A community made up exclusively of one sex is different from a community composed of both.'
USA - When I started warning of an emerging global food crisis a number of months ago, many out there assumed that I must be exaggerating things. Sadly, I was not exaggerating one bit. The soaring price of fertilizer, extreme global weather patterns, shocking crop failures and an epic global supply chain crisis had combined to create a “perfect storm” even before the war in Ukraine began. Of course the war has made things far worse, because Russia and Ukraine collectively account for about 30 percent of all worldwide wheat exports under normal conditions. For a while, the mainstream media and our leaders in Washington were in denial about what was happening, but now everyone is finally admitting the truth. In fact, at this point even the Biden administration is conceding that a global food crisis is here…
USA - While the days of peace on earth have been few in the history of mankind, we’re now seeing an escalation in hatred and calls for violence and outright murder are being actively encouraged. [Historian and Scottish television presenter Neil] Oliver points out that Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has relaxed its hate speech policies in certain countries — but only as long as the hatred is directed against Russians.
USA - Large mainstream bank. I go in after deciding to pull out $1,500 in petty cash, with all this talk of cyber attacks and the economy being wild I figure its best to have small bills up to big bills just in case.
“Hello I’d like to withdraw 1500”
“Okay, do you have a digital wallet?”
“No I’ve got my card.”
“I can help you setup the digital wallet, it’s just like your card but on your phone.”
“I’ve got my card. I just need the cash”
“With a digital wallet you probably wouldn’t even need cash.”
USA - Since the invasion of Ukraine began, manufacturers of doomsday bunkers have seen a massive spike in sales. This is typical during any crisis as people wait until the last minute to start preparing. What sets this rush toward prepping apart from ones in the past is the fact that the World Bank is warning against such actions — despite many of their elite friends doing exactly that. During a virtual event hosted by the Washington Post on Monday, World Bank President David Malpass told people not to store food or gasoline in spite of the massive spike in prices since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
USA - This is GOLD. NYT (New York Times) asks Candace Owens where she gets her ideas about Ukraine — and immediately regrets it. Daily Wire host Candace Owens tweeted Monday that the New York Times sent her a message asking where she got her ideas that "Ukraine was a corrupt country," adding that such ideas are similar to those "seen from Russian state media." Candace's response was gloriously embarrassing — for the New York Times. "Received an email from The NYTimes asking for comment regarding me ‘advancing ideas that Ukraine is a corrupt country’ — similar to Russian state TV. I replied informing them that I actually got my ideas from the New York Times, and provided them links to their past articles," Candace wrote.
YEMEN - Yemen has been at war for the past seven years. A once great land of ancient trade, Yemen has become one of the poorest nations in the Arab world. Their GDP for 2021 was expected to reach only 26.9 billion USD. The World Bank estimated that over half of Yemen’s population lived in poverty prior to the pandemic, and that figure has now reached 71% to 78%.
ETHIOPIA - Researchers from Belgium’s Ghent University estimate between 50,000-100,000 people have died from fighting, 150,000-200,000 from starvation and more than 100,000 from lack of medical attention. Coming from a Nobel Peace Prize winner, Abiy Ahmed’s call for restraint and diplomacy to end the war in Ukraine might have attracted more attention if the Ethiopian prime minister hadn’t stained his laurels with the blood of his own people. Reports of hideous war crimes committed by his forces and those of his Eritrean allies against civilians in the rebel northern province of Tigray make a mockery of his appeals for nonviolence in other parts of the world.
EUROPE - On Monday, the European Union approved Strategic Compass – a bloc-wide common defense strategy that will create an EU deployment force of 5,000 troops. While such a move is a historic first for the bloc, it is substantially more modest than the EU army proposed by France’s Emmanuel Macron.
ISRAEL - Israeli Knesset member threatens to dump the US and join the Sino-Russia bloc. Perhaps this is the plan, total destruction of the west demographically and economically before a swift pivot to the other side. If the United States does not continue to recognize Israel's sovereignty in the Golan Heights and drastically changes Trump's Iran policy, Israel will have to consider building a stronger relationship with Russia and China.
