USA - Bill Gates said he called off his holiday plans as the omicron variant ushers in what he predicts could be the "worst part of the pandemic." He also predicted, however, that the current surge in COVID-19 cases could be over within months, and the pandemic itself may end next year “if we take the right steps.” “Just when it seemed like life would return to normal, we could be entering the worst part of the pandemic,” he tweeted on Tuesday. "Omicron will hit home for all of us. Close friends of mine now have it, and I’ve canceled most of my holiday plans.” In his thread, Gates said the omicron outbreak could be the worst so far in the pandemic because of how quickly it spreads. He urged people to wear masks, avoid large indoor crowds and get the COVID-19 booster shot. “Omicron is spreading faster than any virus in history,” he tweeted. “It will soon be in every country in the world.”

USA - The Marine Corps reportedly discharged 103 Marines for not taking the mRNA vaccine. The highest refusal rate among the military branches, 10,000 Marines may now be discharged from the service. Around 5,700 Air Force and Space Force troops are not vaccinated. Over 6,200 Army troops have received temporary exemptions, but 3,900 remain unvaccinated. Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma has attempted to stop the vaccine mandate for troops. “I believe we should suspend the vaccine mandate until the Department of Defense can answer basic questions about the impact the mandate will have on the total force,” Senator Inhofe of Oklahoma stated to US News. “I have yet to receive a response.” The mandate is a potential risk to national security. The military elites know what will happen if they lose tens of thousands of troops but they’re willing to put the country at risk to promote the larger agenda.

USA - A new report from the Rockefeller Foundation called "Reset the Table" (sound familiar?) calls for a total centralization of the global food supply in order to solve the "hunger and nutrition crisis." The Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) increased hunger in children by more than 500 percent, the report alleges. And the only way to solve it is for food to be communized and controlled entirely by a global central government. Dr Rajiv J Shah, the foundation's president, admits in the opener that calls to globalize the world's food systems is "not new." Globalists have been pushing for it for many years, and only now, thanks to [Covid], is it finally within reach. None of the aggressive measures proposed in the report would have been possible were it not for the widespread destruction of society and its supply chains caused by lockdowns etc.

USA - An online body positivity group have created cards for patients who do not want to be weighed by their doctors unless absolutely necessary. The 'Don't Weigh Me Cards', created by More-Love.org, ask doctors not to weigh patients every time they come in for an appointment because it 'stresses them out' and it 'perpetuates weight stigma'. On the back of the cards is a list of reasons why being weighed is not always necessary, including 'Most health conditions can be addressed without knowing my weight', and 'I pursue healthy behaviors regardless of my weight status'. The reaction to the cards online has been mixed - with some praising the cards for helping patients with eating disorders avoid triggers, while others accused those who need the cards of being 'overly sensitive'.

USA - We tend to think of ourselves as the greatest nation that the world has ever seen, and we like to believe that everyone else should follow our example. But the truth is that we are a fallen nation that is in the midst of a horrifying moral collapse. UK - Dame Maureen Lipman fears 'cancel culture' is putting society on the 'cusp of wiping out comedy'. The actress, 75, said there has been a 'revolution' that has left comedians so scared of offending anyone it was 'balance whether we're ever going to be funny again'. It came as a YouGov poll revealed nearly half of Britons censor their opinions to avoid offending someone they have just met, rising to almost two thirds for controversial issues like trans rights and immigration. 'This cancel culture, this punishment, it's everywhere, you know, an eye for an eye - you said that therefore you must never work again. We're on the cusp of wiping out comedy.' A YouGov poll on cancel culture, shared with the BBC, found 49% of respondents would tone down or disguise their opinions to avoid causing offence to someone they had just met, and 21% would take the same approach with their family.

USA - Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has criticized ‘wokeness’ and mocked CNN in an interview with the conservative satire website the Babylon Bee, calling political correctness one of the greatest threats to civilization. In the fiery interview, which aired on Tuesday evening, Musk protested attempts to cancel comedian Dave Chappelle and said the “woke mind virus” is “arguably one of the biggest threats to modern civilization.”

UK - While most of the media has predictably chosen to be alarmist about the Omicron variant, there are still a few reporters willing to get to the truth of the matter. Kay Burley, a reporter for Sky News, recently interviewed [Gillian] Keegan, asking her a relatively straightforward question that exposed both the UK government and their apologists in the media.

UK - The Archbishop of Canterbury has implied that Jesus would get vaccinated against Covid. Justin Welby suggested that people who refuse to get jabbed are 'immoral' as he told people to 'love one another, as Jesus said'. Asked by ITV News if being vaccinated is a 'moral issue', the archbishop said: 'I'm going to step out on thin ice here and say yes, I think it is. A lot of people won't like that, but I think it is because it's not about me and my rights. Now obviously there are some people who, for health reasons, can't be vaccinated – different question – but it's not about me and my rights to choose. It's about how I love my neighbour. Vaccination reduces my chances – doesn't eliminate – but it reduces my chances of getting ill and reducing my chances of getting ill reduces my chances of infecting others. It's very simple. So I would say yes, to love one another – as Jesus said – get vaccinated, get boosted.'

JAPAN - Despite numerous major countries making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory, the Japanese government has told its citizens “do not discriminate against those who have not been vaccinated.” Germany is set to follow Austria by imposing mandatory jabs, with refuseniks who still resist taking them facing escalating fines and eventually prison sentences. However, Japan is taking a very different approach, asserting that vaccines should only ever be administered with full consent and that they shouldn’t be used as tools of coercion or intimidation. Meanwhile, in Austria, the government is literally hiring people to ‘hunt down’ those who refuse to take the jab. “Western countries still claim to be the foremost defenders of civil liberties,” writes Noah Carl. “But in the era of Covid safetyism, it seems that mantle has passed to Japan. Perhaps the country will send a delegation of human rights experts to teach the West about individual freedom.”

Bennett Kaspar-Williams, 37, from Los Angeles, first realised he was trans around ten years ago, in 2011, but didn't begin his transition until three years later. Then six years later, in 2017 he found Malik, his future husband - who he married in 2019. The couple decided that they wanted to have children, and weighed the options available to them because it meant Bennett stopping the testosterone hormone therapy he'd been on for several years to enable his ovaries to function. Bennett, who has had surgery on the top half of his body but not on his genitalia, eventually decided that he would be comfortable trying to conceive and carrying a child. He fell pregnant naturally soon after they started trying, and the couple welcomed their son Hudson, via Cesarean section, in October 2020. Now, Bennett wants to separate motherhood from womanhood...

RUSSIA - President Vladimir Putin threatened a military response to counter NATO expansion toward Russia’s borders, but said he hoped for a diplomatic solution to rising tensions as the US said it was ready to discuss his security demands. The US and its allies “must understand that we have nowhere to retreat further” and Russia can’t allow them to deploy missiles in Ukraine that would be a few minutes’ strike distance from Moscow, Putin told senior officers Tuesday at the Russian Defense Ministry. Russia will “take adequate military-technical response measures and react harshly to unfriendly steps,” he said. The US and Europe accuse Russia of a massive build-up of troops near Ukraine in preparation for a possible invasion as early as next month, something Russia denies. The US and its allies are working on plans to impose painful new sanctions on Russia if it invades Ukraine. The West has also promised to increase arms supplies to Kyiv in the event of a Russian incursion, though NATO hasn’t announced plans for any missile deployments in Ukraine, which isn’t a member of the alliance.

CHINA - With Biden in charge, China Says it doesn’t fear a confrontation with the US. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday that China is open to cooperation with the US but is also prepared for and unafraid of a confrontation with the US. During remarks about China’s diplomatic posture towards the world, Wang said, “China’s attitude is consistent and clear-cut: dialogue may be conducted, but it should be based on equality; cooperation is welcome, but it should be for mutual benefit,” adding, “Competition may exist, but it should be healthy in nature; confrontation, which China does not fear, will be met in kind.” China has also threatened US troops that attempt to protect Taiwan from a China invasion.
