Pope Francis Calls for ‘New Social Justice’ to Challenge Utopia

VATICAN - Pope Francis called for a “new social justice” Sunday in which all well-intentioned people will challenge the reigning utopia. Addressing “social justice judges” from the African and American continents via streaming, the pope congratulated them for their commitment to “social rights,” asserting that the very fact that men and women “come together to think about their work and to build the new social justice is, without a doubt, excellent news.” The pontiff, who has been a vocal proponent of a “great reset” after the coronavirus pandemic, urged his hearers to “not lose sight of the distressing picture in which a small part of humanity lives in opulence, while an increasingly large number lives without dignity with their most elementary rights ignored or violated.”

A Successful US Missile Intercept

USA - This month, an intercontinental ballistic missile was fired in the general direction of the Hawaiian islands. During its descent a few minutes later, still outside the earth’s atmosphere, it was struck by another missile that destroyed it. With that detonation, the world’s tenuous nuclear balance suddenly threatened to come out of kilter. The danger of atom bombs being used again was already increasing. Now it’s grown once more.

USA: Tens Of Millions Face Eviction In 2021

USA - Unless there is emergency intervention, tens of millions of Americans could be facing eviction once the holiday season is over. We kicked the can down the road throughout 2020, but all of the rent that was originally owed to landlords all over the country is still due, and they are very eager to collect. Countless landlords are on the verge of financial ruin because of the rent moratoriums which were put in place, and kicking the can down the road even more would be absolutely disastrous for them. Of course it would also be absolutely disastrous if the moratoriums are not extended, because in some states more than half of all households are behind on their rent or mortgage payments, and most of them have no way to pay. One way or the other, we are about to hit a breaking point. The Aspen Institute is telling us that a whopping 40 million people “could face eviction over the next several months”…

British Army's Information Warfare Unit will be deployed

UK - The British Army's Information Warfare Unit will be deployed to tackle anti-vaccine propaganda ahead of the coronavirus vaccine rollout, it has been revealed. Soldiers are already monitoring cyberspace for Covid-19 content to find out how British citizens are being targeted online, leaked documents showed. It comes amid a rise in the number of anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine protests taking place around Britain as three potential vaccines were found to have around 90 per cent effectiveness. Many Brits are enraged and feel the Government is wielding too much power in its enforcement of restrictions. The Ministry of Defence has confirmed the 77th Brigade will not be working against the British people, but instead looking at what impact other countries have on our cyber networks.

Merkel warns economic consequences of Covid pandemic could last years

GERMANY - German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters on Monday that she fears the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic will reverberate for years to come. Merkel praised improved coordination between EU member states during the pandemic, but called on nations to recognize the critical importance of EU instruments in repairing the financial damage it has caused, as the bloc “will have to deal with the economic consequences of Covid-19 for several years.” The remarks follow the German parliament’s decision to extend lockdown measures in the country over concerns that the health system could be overwhelmed by coronavirus cases. Defending the proposal, Merkel affirmed that the federal government would need to spend billions of euros to mitigate the economic consequences. Merkel has previously warned that the economic situation is being underestimated by the EU, fearing that the bloc could sink into the deepest recession since the Second World War. Some states expect to see their economies contract by up to 10 percent this year.

UN says 110 killed in suspected Boko Haram attack in Nigeria

NIGERIA - The death toll in a suspected Boko Haram attack on farmers in northeastern Nigeria on Saturday has reached at least 110, a UN humanitarian coordinator in the country said, urging the perpetrators to be brought to justice. “At least 110 civilians were ruthlessly killed and many others wounded in this attack,” Edward Kallon, the UN’s humanitarian coordinator in Nigeria, said in a statement. The incident was the “most violent direct attack against innocent civilians” in the country in 2020, Kallon pointed out. The perpetrators of this “heinous and senseless” act must be brought to justice, he added. There’s been a sharp spike in food prices in Nigeria recently caused by flooding, the closure of borders and the activities of militants in agricultural areas.

Sydney records hottest November night on record

AUSTRALIA - Sydney has reported its hottest November night on record, with the official start of summer still days away. The city recorded a minimum overnight temperature of 25.4C and then hit 40C during the daytime on Sunday. Dozens of bush fires are already burning in New South Wales with hotter weather predicted on Tuesday. The states of Victoria and South Australia also reported soaring heat over the weekend. "November has been quite unusual in many ways. We have only seen about half our normal rainfall and it is quite possible it will be one of our hottest Novembers on record," Andrew Watkins, of the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) noted on Friday.

Indonesian volcano

INDONESIA - A volcano has erupted in Indonesia forcing thousands to evacuate their island homes as plumes of deadly gas fill the sky and lava pours down the mountainside. The volcano, called Mount Ile Lewotolok, is in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Lembata, Indonesia. Reports from Indonesia suggest 2,780 people from 26 villages have fled the area. The land surrounding the volcano is being swept in "hot clouds and lava streams". Volcanic ash and smoke have spewed 2.5 miles into the sky above the mountain. The active volcano is in the Lesser Sunda Islands of the Indonesian archipelago. Indonesia's Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation Centre warned of "hot clouds, lava stream, lava avalanche, and poisonous gas" in the area around the volcano.

President Trump’s Dream Team Fighting for the Survival of the Nation

USA - The team fighting for the survival of this great nation are the right people for the job. President Trump’s ‘Dream Team’ will go down in history as the small group of individuals who saved our nation. The Democrats, the Deep State, Big Media, Big Tech and foreign entities are trying to destroy America and remove President Trump from office illegally. Unfortunately for them the President’s ‘Dream Team’ is standing in their way.

Opening shot of a Trump-led war on Iran?

USA - The assassination on Friday of Iran’s leading nuclear scientist has heightened suspicions that Donald Trump, in cahoots with hardline Israeli and Saudi allies, may be trying to lure the Tehran regime into an all-out confrontation in the dying days of his presidency. Trump’s four-year-long Iranian vendetta is approaching a climax – and he still has the power and the means to inflict lasting damage.

A 'THIRD of British retail brands will disappear' by MARCH

UK - The Fortnum & Mason CEO today gloomily predicted a third of British retail brands will disappear by March after an 80% plunge in footfall due to lockdown and shoppers avoiding the West End. Ewan Venters said the Government's new strict tier system, which bans people meeting anyone outside their household indoors, would restrict the number of shoppers venturing into stores over the crucial Christmas period. He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: 'I predict that by the end of the first quarter of next year up a third of British retail brands will disappear.' Boris Johnson imposed brutal Tier 2 and 3 rules on 99% of England yesterday, with the higher category banning all hospitality business, while the other permits pubs to stay open only if they serve food. Tier 3 areas will also see bans on any other indoor entertainment venues, including casinos, amusement arcades, bowling alleys and museums.

Joy Behar: Strong Christian Faith a ‘Mental Illness'

USA - High profile Christians like Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett and Vice President Mike Pence have been subject to attacks for their faith. But after "The View” host Joy Behar took aim at Pence, the backlash proved Christians are not taking abuse in silence. The tipping point was when Behar trashed Pence for his faith during a 2018 segment. “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus; it’s another thing when Jesus talks to you,” Behar said. “That’s called mental illness if I’m not correct.”

After Merkel, Meet the German Donald Trump

GERMANY - Hardline conservative Friedrich Merz makes a bid for the CDU leadership. A combative old white man who speaks of gays and pedophiles in the same breath, dismisses gender debates as a waste of time and who can’t stand Angela Merkel could hardly be more out of step with the zeitgeist. That hasn’t stopped Friedrich Merz from trying to become Germany’s next chancellor. The bigger surprise is that he has an outside chance of succeeding.

USS Nimitz aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf

USA - The Pentagon is deploying a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf, CNN national security correspondent Barbara Starr reported Friday. “The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz is being moved back into the Persian Gulf region along with other warships to provide combat support and air cover as US troops withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan by January 15 under President Trump’s orders a defense official tells CNN,” Starr reported. “The official said the move was decided before news came of the assassination of a prominent Iranian nuclear scientist,” Starr explained. “But the movement of the US forces is an increased deterrence message to Iran regardless the official noted.” “The movement puts increased American military firepower and thousands of personnel into the region through the end of the Trump Administration. It may be up to President-elect Joe Biden to decide when to withdraw them,” she added.

The UK military’s overseas base network

UK - Britain’s armed forces have a far more extensive base network than ever presented by the Ministry of Defence. New research by Declassified reveals the extent of this global military presence for the first time – as the government announces an extra 10% spending on defence. Britain’s military has a permanent presence at 145 base sites in 42 countries or territories around the world, research by Declassified UK has found. The size of this global military presence is far larger than previously thought and is likely to mean that the UK has the second largest military network in the world, after the United States. It is the first time the true size of this network has been revealed.

“Just what is an APOSTLE?”
Just what is an Apostle?

Today we find the Church of God in a “wilderness of religious confusion!”

The confusion is not merely around the Church – within the religions of the world outside – but WITHIN the very heart of The True Church itself!

Listen to Me, You who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My Law: …I have put My words in your mouth, I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, “you are My people” (Isaiah 51:7,16)
