President Herzog stated in their conversation that President Macron's comments, as reported in the media over the weekend, had caused much pain and upset in Israel, and noted it was good that President Macron had clarified his words last night and today in various publications, and now in a conversation between them.

The President reiterated that the State of Israel and the IDF continue to act in a humanitarian manner and in accordance with international law. He noted that Israel took all possible measures to prevent harm to uninvolved civilians. He also emphasized that the full responsibility for harm caused to innocent people in the Gaza Strip rested with the terrorist organization Hamas.

But, as the authors of a new study note, since the mid-1980s the 84 (CMIP5) and 56 (CMIP6) AMOC models have been contradicted by observations in both magnitude and sign. The AMOC has not been declining in response to increases in atmospheric CO2. There is even evidence of trend increases. So, as the scientists ask, why should we trust future modeled predictions?

His words were echoed by a host of retired police chiefs, Lefty lawyers and even some Tory MPs. There's just one problem with all this opprobrium. Mrs Braverman is right.

She again referred to the pro-Palestine rallies as 'hate marches' and said they were being used by Islamic extremists as an attempt to dominate the streets of London. Cue a meltdown from pretty much the entire law enforcement establishment. The march tomorrow threatens to be the most high risk march yet. Instead of pillorying Mrs Braverman for daring to speak out in advance, she should be praised for refusing to accept the Met's excuses and obstinacy.

As China opened up, Walmart took ­advantage of that country’s extraordinary ability to produce goods at knock-down prices. The simple reality is that the US and the Chinese economy are physically knitted together like Siamese twins. “The IDF death toll since the start of the Gaza ground operation rose to 35 on Thursday, as the military said another soldier had been killed in combat,” The Times of Israel reported. A large number of terrorists from the Hamas ‘Nukhba force,’ who took part in the massacre of October 7, were eliminated, including the commander Ahmed Musa and the platoon commander Amr Alhandi, who had barricaded themselves in Western Jabaliya.

While Hamas remains holed up in underground tunnels, they may have shoveled their own grave: A simple solution to avoid protracted fighting in booby-trapped tunnels would be to flood them with water from the Mediterranean, as Jeff Goodson writes on RealClearDefense. While this would put any hostages held underground at risk, the flooding could be done slowly to force the terrorists out with their hostages, however, providing a neat solution to the hostage dilemma as well.

Other idealists, especially those in the US, think American power can remake the world. They spent years attacking the Taliban in Afghanistan, before giving up and once again accepting Taliban rule there. They shattered the Middle East trying to create a democracy in Iraq, and have now given that up too, along with their equally doomed attempt to overthrow the Syrian state with the aid of Al Qaeda, and their creation of permanent chaos in Libya.

Next on their list of expensive idealistic failures is Ukraine, now full of graves and ruins. Most of these well-meaning adventures have helped fuel the migration crisis which has made Europe more unstable than at any point in my lifetime. Each has made the world too used to war. Having lived most of my life in a post-war era, I now find myself in what looks unpleasantly like a pre-war age.

The pro-Israel media watchdog organization brought up ethical concerns Wednesday, noting that media photographers seemed to have known about the attack and were quite at ease among the terrorists, who were shooting every other civilian they found. Later, photographs emerged of one of the photographers posing for selfies with the local Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.

In a statement, the National Public Diplomacy Directorate of the Prime Ministers’s Office demanded action by news agencies: News agencies have faced criticism in recent years for using photographers or local “stringers” who have sympathy for anti-Israel terrorist groups. Often, these are the only photographers that groups like Hamas and Hezbollah will permit to work in the area.

On October 7, Hamas terrorists blitzed into Israel, slaughtering 1,400 victims and taking 240 hostages in a rampage that shocked the world. Israel has vowed to wipe out Hamas and Palestinian officials have said 10,569 people have been killed. Among those interviewed by Jewish charity Campaign Against Antisemitism were two young women - one of whom denied Hamas's barbaric invasion took place while the other admitted to not knowing what had happened.

A spokesman for Campaign Against Antisemitism said: 'This footage showcases the toxic combination of ignorance and support for terrorism that motivates too many of the protesters on these marches. 'Is it any surprise that opinions such as these, accompanied by genocidal chanting, anti-Semitic signage and calls for violence, are terrifying the Jewish community?
